Our Focus is on the "Family in need".
Our goal is to help bring them to self-sufficiency
We've established a relationship with all the organizations and
agencies we call "Agency Assistance". AHF collaborates
with these agencies. The services they provide help us to facilitate
the families with what they need now and the assistance we get from
the Corporate/Faith Based Sponsors (Top Right) help to bring the
families to our goal of self sufficiency.
- Positioned in the marketplace as a not-for-profit (501c3) agency providing disaster assistance to South Florida families displaced by Hurricanes Katrina and Wilma.
- The nature of this assistance will primarily be housing assistance; temporary housing, at first, with the ultimate objective of restoring the family to self-sufficiency in permanent housing.
- Secondary assistance will also be provided in the areas of job placement, securing food, clothing, essential furniture, childcare & personal hygiene needs, and the like.
